These balloon cupcake toppers make a cute birthday cupcake decor. Using printable cupcake toppers is a quick and budget-friendly way to decorate your cupcakes.
These balloon-shaped cupcake toppers come in four different colors: yellow, green, red, and blue.
The cupcake toppers are very easy to put together. Simply download and print the template, cut out the balloons, attach them to a toothpick, and pop them into cupcakes. It is as easy as that!

Supplies Needed
You will need the following supplies:
- Balloon cupcake toppers (download link is available at the bottom of the post).
- Printer (print at home or at your local print shop).
- White printer paper or preferably cardstock.
- Scissors.
- Glue or tape.
- Toothpicks (or you can use lollipop sticks).
How to make the cupcake toppers
Follow the steps below to make the cupcake toppers:
Step 1: Print out the template on white cardstock.
Step 2: Cut out the balloons with a pair of scissors.
Step 3: Use a piece of tape to attach the toothpick to the back of the balloon. You can use clear tape or a matching washi tape.
You can also make the cupcake toppers two-sided. To do so, take one balloon and add some glue to the back, position a toothpick straight down, and place another balloon on top. Use two balloons of the same color or choose a different color. Press a little to glue the pieces together.
Step 4: Now simply stick the finished toppers into cupcakes and you are all done!

Print on standard 8.5″×11″ paper (US Letter). To print on A4 paper select “Fit to page” in your printer settings.
Each balloon measures 2″ (5cm) high and there are 16 balloons per page. Print as many copies as you need. Enjoy!
