Supplies Needed
You will need the following supplies:
- Heart cupcake toppers (download link is available at the bottom of the post).
- Printer (print at home or at your local print shop).
- White printer paper or preferably cardstock.
- Scissors.
- Glue or tape.
- Toothpicks (or you can use lollipop sticks).
How to make the cupcake toppers
Follow the steps below to make the cupcake toppers:
Step 1: Print out the template on white cardstock.
Step 2: Cut out the hearts with a pair of scissors.
Step 3: Use a piece of tape to attach the toothpick to the back of the shapes. You can use clear tape or a matching washi tape.
You can also make the cupcake toppers two-sided. To do so, take one heart and add some glue to the back, position a toothpick straight down, and place another heart on top. Press a little to glue the pieces together.
Step 4: Now simply stick the finished toppers into cupcakes and you are all done!

Download the PDF file and print it at home or at your local print shop.
Print on standard 8.5″×11″ paper (US Letter). To print on A4 paper select “Fit to page” in your printer settings.
Each heart measures 2″ (5cm) wide. Print as many copies as you need. Enjoy!
