Supplies Needed
You will need the following supplies:
- Valentine’s Day cupcake toppers (download link is available at the bottom of the post).
- Printer (print at home or at your local print shop).
- White printer paper or preferably cardstock.
- Scissors.
- Glue or tape.
- Toothpicks (or you can use lollipop sticks).
How to make the cupcake toppers
Follow the steps below to make the cupcake toppers:
Step 1: Print out the template on white cardstock.
Step 2: Cut out the circles with a pair of scissors or use a 2″ circle punch.
Step 3: Use a piece of tape to attach the toothpick to the back of the circle. You can use clear tape or a matching washi tape.
You can also make the cupcake toppers two-sided. To do so, take one circle and add some glue to the back, position a toothpick straight down, and place another circle on top. Use two cupcake toppers with the same design or choose another design. Press a little to glue the pieces together.
Step 4: Now simply stick the finished toppers into cupcakes and you are all done!

Print on standard 8.5″×11″ paper (US Letter). To print on A4 paper select “Fit to page” in your printer settings.
Each cupcake topper measures 2″ (5cm). Print as many copies as you need. Enjoy!
