How to set up the game

Follow the steps below to set up the bingo game.

Step 1: Download and print the cards.

At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the link to download the playing cards and the calling cards. There is a total of 30 unique playing cards and a calling sheet. You will need one card per player and the full list of calling cards.

Print the cards on white paper or cardstock (cardstock will be more durable).

Step 2: Cut out the calling cards.

Step 3: Prepare the markers.

If you are using this game once, players can use markers, pencils, or pens to mark the words with an X.

If you want to play multiple rounds use tokens to cover the words. These can be bingo chips, buttons, coins, paper circles, wrapped candy, etc.

If you plan to reuse the game, you can laminate the cards and use dry-erase markers.

How to play the game

To begin, place the calling cards into a bowl and choose someone to be the caller. If you don’t have a bowl at hand, simply put the calling cards in a pile.

Give each player a bingo card and markers. Have everyone mark their center FREE square before the game begins.

The caller will draw one card from the bowl and read it out loud. If a player has that word on their card, they will cover it with a marker.

There are 24 words on each card and 30 calling cards, so not everyone will have the same words. This makes the make more interesting.

Once someone has covered five words in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), they call out “BINGO” and win the game.
